I know that all that hatred is not gone but it was good to see that for the most part, this country has moved beyond that.

That being said, I am not sure this President truly understands what lies before him. He is releasing terrorists from prison and it appears will treat them as criminals in the future. I hope he does not for the sake of our national security. Our intelligence community is valuable to the stoppage of someone else 9/11 or worse and if their methods had to be made known in a civilian court, their effectiveness would be greatly diminished, and the security of many of my military brethren could be compromised.

I do not so much mind that congress passed an 800 Billion Dollar bailout bill, as much as I mind that it was passed without anything reading it. It Boggles my mind. The fact that the next bill (0 Billion) was not even referred to in last nights speech, but that he only said next years bill will have no pork. But Mr. President, this one has over 1,000 pork projects in it, where is your transparency now, where is your "Change" now?

The only change this President has been willing to make now are the following: (make what you will of them)
1. Release terrorists
2. Close Gitmo
3. Raise taxes on small business men and woman
4. Give stronger preserve to unions
5. Spend money on abortions in Other Countries (just where my tax dollars should go)

These are truly changes from the way the Bush administration did things... Not sure that is what most population view he meant while his campaign.

I don't know about the rest of my fellow Americans, but I am truly scared about the direction we are heading!

Does anything undoubtedly believe that raising taxes on small businesses will create more jobs? Does anything undoubtedly believe that trying terrorists in our civilian courts is a good thing? Can anything out there tell me why, in these difficult times, paying for abortions in other countries is a good idea? Is there a business owner in this country that thinks giving more ownership to unions will make your business stronger?

I ponder all these things as we move transmit and I ask all Americans, is this the change you wanted? Can you sit by and allow Congress to send a bill to the President with over 1,000 pork items in it? Can anything interpret why congress and the President think this in not a big deal?

I am a exiguous confused about what is going on, and my only hope is that we survive the next few years. After Jimmy Carter walked this exact path (that's right for those that do not remember, this is only change Back to 1976) and we all struggled, I can only hope that we can once again over come what we are about to endure.
