Jesus encouraged His disciples to pray diligently under the advice of His Mother, to whom He had entrusted as sons (and daughters) from the Cross - "Mother note your son(s), son(s) note your Mother." John 17
Jesus could have sent the disciples elsewhere to prepare for and to receive the Holy Spirit, but He specifically told the disciples to stay in Jerusalem. Why? Was it not Jerusalem who was the denier of the Christ and whose citizens had just committed the Crime?

From a human point of view, Jerusalem was the most unworthy town within which the Church, One, Holy, was to arise. Violence and hatred are disseminated; sins of impurity are spreading like a poison which brings death to hearts and souls. Evils are spreading more and more which threaten moral integrity; pornography, drugs, divorce. Homosexuality -- a sin of impurity which is against nature -- is being justified; recourse to artificial birth operate has come to be commonplace; abortions - the killing of innocent children - are spreading and are performed in every part of the Usa.
Jesus enjoined the disciples to stay in Jerusalem, but also warned them that as Jerusalem had repudiated Him, so they would also be rejected. "They will expel you from the synagogues; in fact, the hour is arrival when everyone who kills you will think he is offering worship to God. John 16:2 "If the world hates you, comprehend that it hated Me first... If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you." John 15:18,20.
Jesus said, "When the Advocate, (the Holy Spirit) comes He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation: sin, because they do not believe in Me; righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; condemnation, because the ruler of this world has been condemned." Jn 8-11.

We are living in a time when we need the power of the Holy Spirit! Our time is marked with hypocrisy and sin, a time when the just are few. We are entering into a time when Christians will be cruelly persecuted. Can we identify the signs of the times? How much we need the Sanctifier!
A new and universal outpouring of the Holy Spirit is considerable to bring an understanding of the whole and whole truth to this humanity, to help us understand the times straight through which we are living, to be light upon our way and make us courageous witnesses of the Gospel in this terrific hour of the great apostasy and of the great disgrace. We need the Holy Spirit to give His perfect witness to the Son, and prepare hearts to receive Him!
From a human point of view, this humanity is the least worthy to receive the new effusion of the Holy Spirit, just as Jerusalem was when Jesus walked among us.
The Holy Spirit, the Sanctifier is about to come and renew the face of the earth, today, in this time. Each person will be filled with the Holy Spirit with abundant newness, but one must be like the apostles, ready, praying, fasting, in union with the mother of Christ. One must ensure that he/she is ready, that is, pure, clean, washed in the Blood of Christ, ready, as a spotless bride to receive Him. We must be surrounded in prayer as Esther was enveloped in prayer and the perfumes of her ardor before she went to meet King Ahasuerus. Esther 4:D.

And the New Temple is and will be recognized as the Temple of the Body of Christ and His Church, the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. It is where the Spirit of God has made His dwelling. This Church, One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic, must now live its destiny and be freed from the ties of the temple and of the world, eternal and victorious, and its triumph will tell peoples that God alone triumphs and wants what He wants, and no hatred of men or demons can stop His Will!
