A Star is, 1.A self-luminous celestial body consisting of a mass of gas held together by its own gravity. 2. A emblem of rank or merit. 3. The future; destiny. We must ask ourselves why, Mat 24:28-29, is so hard to take as literal and not spiritual? We see stars falling from the heavens on a daily bases. We see proof of their destruction all nearby the world and many times they leave no trace of their existence when they fall. Asterites, Asteroids, Comets, etc. Past and Future.
Man prides himself on his knowledge of science but he still misses the subtle points of truth, when he ignores the prophetic meaning of the scripture. God intends to use the stars of the heavens to shake men into repenting of their sins. But as we see in scripture, this calamity will have no result on the hardness of mans heart. Rev 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths
